When using the automatic mileage tracker, Hurdlr is detecting your trips based on your movement. The automatic mileage tracker starts tracking when you reach 10 mph (as well as a few other factors) and stops after several minutes of inactivity. For this reason, one trip may be segmented into several shorter segments or several trips may be combined into one.

If you need to merge multiple trips into one, you can use the Merge Trips feature.

Some other alternatives to customize your mileage tracking experience include:

  • If you are an Android user, you can track your mileage via Bluetooth, giving you the ability to track one continuous trip from the time your phone connects to your selected Bluetooth device until it disconnects.

  • To manually end a drive, you can toggle the ‘Auto Tracker’ OFF, then back ON again. This will end the drive you were tracking and begin tracking a new drive when you start driving again.

  • If you make frequent stops (such as doing deliveries) or want to track one continuous trip, you may want to consider using the semi-automatic tracker.
