While you can easily tag your transactions one-by-one, there may be times when you want to categorize multiple transactions at once, making it faster and easier to categorize your finances.

The Speed Tagging feature allows you to select multiple transactions in order to tag them all as either Business or Personal at once.

On the Mobile App

  1. Navigate to the Income or Expenses tab

  2. Tap the orange tag button in the bottom right corner (you’ll need to make sure that you have auto-tracking toggled on to see this button)

  3. Select the checkmarks next to each transaction you’d like to tag, or select the checkmark at the top to select all

  4. At the top, choose to tag all select transactions as either Business or Personal

On the Web App

  1. Navigate to the Income or Expenses Dashboard

  2. Select the checkboxes next to each transaction you’d like to tag, or click the checkbox at the top to select all on that page (note that you can change the Rows filter to 50 to see more transactions at once)

  3. At the top, select ‘Tag as Business,’ ‘Tag as Personal,’ or ‘Select a Category’

    1. Tag as Business - Tags all selected transactions as Business

    2. Tag as Personal - Tags all selected transactions as Personal

    3. Select a Category - Lets you both update the expense category for the selected transactions and tag them all as Business or Personal accordingly

On the web app, you can also use the Speed Tagging feature to delete transactions in bulk. Learn more here.
