Yes, your Hurdlr Pro subscription covers the cost of both your federal and state tax returns.

If you need to file your taxes in multiple states, you’ll still be able to file with Column Tax. When you begin your filing, you’ll be brought to an initial questionnaire. When you see boxes for “lived in multiple states” and “earned income in a state you didn’t live in,” make sure to check the box that pertains to you. That will bring you into the Column Tax Classic journey, where you can file your taxes in multiple states.

If you forget to check the multi-state box in the questionnaire, don’t worry. When you fill out your income, you’ll be asked for state earnings. When you do, you’ll be brought into the Column Tax Classic journey, where you can file your taxes in multiple states.

Column Tax Classic will add states as you fill out your residency and your income. On income forms like a W-2 or 1099-NEC, if you note a different state on your income than what’s listed as your state of residency, Column Tax Classic will automatically add that state to your State Taxes section.

If that doesn’t apply to your tax situation, you can always click on “I'd like to see the forms I've filled out or search for a form” and click “Add a different state”.
