iOS 14 introduced widgets for the iPhone, and Hurdlr is taking advantage of that! For users on iOS 14 and above, you can add the Hurdlr widget to your iPhone. The Hurdlr widget allows you to turn the automatic mileage tracker on/off and start/stop the semi-automatic tracker.
To add the Hurdlr widget to your iPhone, please follow these steps:
From the Home Screen, touch and hold a widget or an empty area until the apps jiggle.
Tap the + button in the upper left corner
Scroll down the list of available widgets until you find Hurdlr
Tap and add Hurdlr
Once you have added the widget, tap the On or Off button to turn the automatic mileage tracker on and off.
If you have the automatic mileage tracker turned off, you will have the option to start and stop the semi-automatic mileage tracker using the widget. To do so, just tap the Start or Stop button that appears.
Note: For best results, be sure to keep Hurdlr open and running in the background. You can read more about the optimal settings for tracking your mileage here.
