Mileage Rules can be set to help you save time and money by automatically tagging recurring trips for you. There are two types of Mileage Rules that you can use in Hurdlr:

  1. Suggested Mileage Rules: AI rule suggestions based on your tracking and tagging behaviors

  2. Mileage Rules based on Favorite Locations: Manual rules that you can set for your Favorite Locations

Suggested Mileage Rules

Based on your tagging habits, Hurdlr will suggest rules to automatically tag your drives. You will need to review the rule suggestions and decide whether to accept or reject them. After accepting a rule, any drive you record that matches the rule will be tagged automatically according to the rule.

Understanding Suggested Rules: Jenny, a freelance marketer, often drives from her office to her client Emily’s office. Jenny always tags this trip as ‘Business’, so after a few trips, a suggested rule for this drive popped up in her Hurdlr account. She approved the rule, so now each time she drives from her office to Emily’s office, her drive is automatically tagged as ‘Business’.
