There are situations where you may need to categorize a bank transaction as Equity (e.g., a transfer to yourself for owner’s draw). When this transaction shows up in the expense section of Hurdlr, since it’s not a true expense, you’ll want to mark it as Owner’s Draw, so it gets tracked properly in your General Ledger.
To do so, in the web app, click on the expense, then click "Advanced", and from the Expense Type drop-down, select "Equity". From there, you will also be able to select the Expense Category like "Owner’s Capital" or "Owner’s Draw".
Your Balance Sheet and General Ledger will be automatically updated accordingly.
