Android settings to check for mileage tracking
Updated over 7 months ago

Android users may need to check other factors when experiencing mileage issues on their device. Android devices have specific settings for Battery Optimization, Data Saver, App Power Monitor, and Adaptive Battery.

These settings can all affect Hurdlr from running in the background while trying to track your mileage. When these settings arise, Hurdlr is unable to detect movement for recording drives. This can lead to missed mileage information, so it is very important to check these settings if you are an Android user.

The specific setting names and locations can vary by specific device and Android OS, so these instructions may vary slightly from your specific device, but should give you a good idea of the settings to check for.
